Next, with this past Sunday's game, I have now attended my first three NFL games. Oddly enough, they were all division games: Vikings/Bears, Packers/Bears, Packers/Vikings. The only current division rival I haven't seen live yet is the Lions - maybe some day.

The military provided pre-game entertainment - the band played Toby Keith's "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" while a soloist sang the words
Favre doing his pre-game warm-ups
We had two sets of tickets for the game. Nick and I took the end zone tickets first - we were in row 6 and just to the left of the goal post. The coolest part of the first half was Driver's long touchdown run - we weren't quite sure how close the Vikings player was to him so we were screaming at him to run faster! After that, Brett came charging down the field, picked him up, and carried him off.
At the half, we switched seats with Cindy and Ryan and ended up on the 5-yard line. The second half wasn't quite as exciting as the first half was, but we did still have a great view of the game. Cindy and Ryan got to see the big hit on Henderson close-up - they actually saw his mouthguard go flying out (we only saw the helmet fall off).
The whole thing was so much fun. The entire game felt like it lasted about an hour, not the four hours we were actually in the stadium. Add that to the Dome dogs and wonderful Packers victory and it was a perfect day. :)
